SOAR Upstate Recovery

SOAR (Strengthening Ourselves while Achieving Recovery)Upstate Recovery is a program presented by South Carolina Addiction Treatment (SCAT) and was originally created to support our alumni across Upstate South Carolina. However, we wanted to open it to any individual in recovery looking to join a supportive community.

SOAR holds monthly meet-ups that all are welcome to join. 

Because SCAT is based in Simpsonville, SC, our events usually take place in the Greenville, Mauldin, and Simpsonville areas. 

The purpose of SOAR meet-ups is to promote recovery, celebrate personal growth, and strengthen our supportive recovery community. We do so by meeting, connecting, and having fun in recovery on a monthly basis. 

By fostering connection, emphasizing personal growth, and offering a space to heal, grow, and inspire one another, SOAR supports every individual’s unique journey toward a fulfilling, sober life.
